National Lottery Winner, The winning tickets, here’s the lucky number of National Lottery. The lucky winner of National Lottery is a couple from Gloucestershire have been confirmed as the winners of Britain’s biggest-ever lottery prize of £56m.
The pair, from near Cirencester, will be formally unveiled at a press conference in Bath later today, Camelot revealed.
A National Lottery spokesman said earlier “We are looking forward to welcoming this ticket holder to our millionaires club which is already 2,400 strong.
“This latest winner continues the nation’s great run of luck with big EuroMillions winners.”
The winning ticket shares Friday night`s overall jackpot of £113m with one other which was bought in Spain.
The jackpot surpassed the £91m paid out in November last year which was shared between two UK tickets.
Based on figures released when the Sunday Times Rich List was published last April, they will be wealthier than Oasis stars Noel and Liam Gallagher (£52m), film director Guy Ritchie (£50m) and actor Sir Michael Caine (£45n).
The lucky numbers were – 05, 45, 01, 38 and 18. The Lucky Star numbers were 6 and 4, and another UK millionaire won the Raffle Selection matching ZHR 111871.
The £56m jackpot pushes Les Scadding and wife Sam from south Wales and the Lucky Seven syndicate from Liverpool, who both banked a cheque for £45.5m in November, into joint second place on the National Lottery’s Rich List.
Angela Kelly, from Glasgow, who won £35.4 million in August 2007, also congratulated the newest winners, saying: “I hope they enjoy as much happiness as I have been able to share with my friends and family thanks to my win.”
